Support Not Stigma

At Support Not Stigma Counseling & Wellness, our mission is to decrease barriers to behavioral health care, reduce stigma, and strengthen systems of support for mental health and substance use through education and counseling.

We equip people with the skills to be trauma-informed advocates for their communities and selves through therapy and education, to break generational cycles of trauma.

We support parents, caregivers, and families through psychoeducation and person-centered care.

We are a 501c3 organization.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 right away.

If you’re struggling with your mental health and need to talk to someone right now, you can call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7. You are not alone, trained counselors are there to listen, support, and help you stay safe.

We provide solutions, not more barriers.

We offer individual therapy to support healing and personal growth in a safe, trauma-informed space, assisting clients and communities through informed, compassionate guidance. We know that therapy is not one size fits all, so we work to establish compassionate, coordinated care. At our core, we know healing is relational, and we believe in establishing a solid therapeutic alliance with every client.

Parenting Support & Workshops

Our parenting support and Child-Parent Psychotherapy services provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space where caregivers can explore their experiences, strengthen their relationships with their children, and build confidence in their parenting journey. We also offer group workshops that foster connection, share practical tools, and promote healing within a supportive community of parents.

Trainings & Speaking Engagements
$0.00

We offer engaging and evidence-based trainings in trauma-informed care, compassion fatigue, occupational trauma, and stigma reduction, tailored to meet the needs of diverse organizations and professionals. Additionally, we provide speaking engagements on these topics to promote awareness, resilience, and systemic change in a variety of settings.

Two hands, one darker-skinned and one lighter-skinned, showing peace signs against a blurred natural background.

At our core, we are dedicated to providing a supportive, trauma-informed space where people can explore their mental well-being without judgment. We believe all people are worthy and deserving of support, regardless of where they come from, their socioeconomic status, and especially those who are most marginalized. We walk through the trenches with our clients because we know that nothing changes if nothing changes. Sometimes the darkest moments are not meant to break you, they are the quiet places where your strength learns to shine.
